The technical committee of the EWUF is formed by 5 commissions and 2 technical representatives in the IWUF.
Under the guidance of TC chairman, the commissions are responsible for carrying the following tasks:
Judges Commission. Chairman: 6th Duan wushu Stewart Beckett:
Formation of EWUF judges body, organisation of teaching courses and examinations, the running of EWUF competitions, keeping of judges records and of the EWUF judges register.
Taolu Commission. Chairman: 6th Duan wushu Iraida Grebneva:
The supervision of taolu competition standard on european level. Amendement of taolu Competition Rules, supervision of certified equipement. Organization and running of taolu events (in conjunction with Judges Commission).
Sanda Commission. Chairman: 6th Duan wushu Alexander Raduncev:
The supervision of sanda competition standard on european level. Amendement of Sanda Competition Rules, supervision of certified equipement. Organization and running of Sanda events (in conjunction with Judges Commission).
Traditional wushu Commission. Chairman: 6th Duan wushu Paolo Auraujo:
The supervision of traditional wushu competition standard on european level. Amendement of traditional wushu Competition Rules, supervision of equipement. Organization and running of traditional wushu events (in conjunction with Judges Commission).
Qingda Commission. Chairman: 6th Duan wushu Roland Quenon:
The supervision of Qingda competition standard on european level. Amendement of Qingda Competition Rules, supervision of certified equipement. Organization and running of Qingda events (in conjunction with Judges Commission).
The EWUF representatives in the IWUF TC Tatiana Kupriyanova (7th Duan wushu) and Peter Warr.
The interaction between the EWUF and IWUF technical committees. Adaptation of international Rules to european level.

EWUF is the only official Wushu organization in Europe responsible for managing all Chinese Martial Arts (Wushu, Kungfu, Taijiquan, Wingchun, Shuaijiao etc.) as recognized by the International Wushu Federation (IWUF). Wushu is an official Sport recognized by the International Olympic Committee, ARISF and Sportaccord since 1998. The European wushu federation was created in 1985. The IWUF was created in 1991.
